You can easily install a Liquidware FlexApp ONE application via Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM). Only the Flexapp Runtime Engine should be installed on the client first. After that, you can install any FlexApp ONE application on the client.
In this example, the already created FlexApp ONE application Notepad++ 8.2 will be deployed via MECM.

Ivanti Workspace Control is used in many companies for profile and application management. In this article, the integration between ProfileUnity FlexApp and Ivanti Workspace Control is tested. Also, FlexApp ONE applications can be easily integrated.

It is good to mention that layered applications are 100% integrated with locally installed applications. That technique is used with the layered Grammarly application and the Office suite.

Liquidware created an option to layer applications without the ProfileUnity agent installed. After the packaging process, a PowerShell script is run to create an executable that will mount the virtual hard disk and start the application. FlexApp has an option to convert MSI, executable installers or scripts to FlexApp packages in batch., without the interaction of a packager. This blog article is about batch conversions.
In this example, the Office add-on Grammarly and Notepad++ 8.2 are converted in batch. Also, in Notepad++ the automatic update option is removed.
